Grilled Glazed Salmon with "Double Trouble Citrus" Horseradish

This recipe for Grilled Glazed Salmon with "Double Trouble Citrus" Horseradish is from Evo owner Susan.  She got the recipe from Grate Roots a small company that sells horseradish at local farmer's markets in Denver, CO.

"It really is delicious!  My husband and I went salmon fishing in Alaska and brought home over 70 pounds of salmon. Their recipe is one of our favorites! So simple, quick and really good. Hope you get a chance to try it." ---Susan

Directions:
1) Mix 1/2 cup of "Double Trouble Citrus" horseradish (or your favorite) 6 Tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey and set aside.

2) Rub 4 skinless salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

3) Grill fillets on the Evo over medium heat until lightly browned and almost cooked through.  Spread the glaze on one side of the salmon fillets, then turn and glaze the other side.

Enjoy!

The Martha Blog Features Evo Grill

Martha Stewart documented her recent visit to Portland, Oregon on her blog (www.themarthablog.com/). She saw the Evo grill in action and was very impressed!

“While in Portland, I was told that I had to visit the wonderful farmers market. The largest market is held on Saturdays near Portland State University. I was immediately drawn to this vendor, Verde Cocina, that sells a variety of freshly prepared tacos. The market serves as a business incubator for at least 50 businesses, like Verde Cocina, that has expanded sales outside of the market, but still sell at the market too. The line of customers at this popular booth was very long. All the cooking is done on a large circular flat-top Evo grill. In addition to this booth, Anna Garnica and her husband, Noe, operate two restaurants in town.” - Martha Stewart

Evo Grills Cooking Up The Feast at “Harambe Nights” Disney World - Animal Kingdom

Disney World is introducing a dinner-and-show combo in a unique setting: After dark at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.  To mark the 20th anniversary of the Disney blockbuster "The Lion King”, the nighttime celebration includes themed dining and live performances in a show titled "The Lion King — Concert in the Wild."  At the park’s Harambe Theater, a celebrity narrator will tell the story of Simba, the cub who would be king, beginning with actress Viola Davis on June 7 each Saturday through August 9th.

Aside from the amazing and original show that Disney has planned for guests, the 55-minute “Lion King Concert In the Wild,” attendees will get to enjoy a number of themed food and beverage picks during an outdoor street party which follows the show.  Foodie picks to watch out for include Lion Chow (a sweet, spicy and savory snack mix of pretzel chips, benne crumbles, cardamom candied pecans, golden raisins, dried cherries and candied ginger), Fresh Bread (naan, onion kucha and pappadum), Surf & Turf made on the Evo Grill (freshly seared lamb chops with tamarind pomegranate sauce and corvina filet with goan curry), Salad selections, South African Wine selections and Jungle Juice (mixed with rum and not for the kids).  This event does welcome children, with the kid-friendly menu including macaroni and cheese, chicken legs, and a non-alcoholic “Simba juice.”  A little something for everyone!  To make a reservation guests can visit Disneyworld.com/HarambeNights or call 407-939-1319.
